BLah!!

The wells fargo job didn't pan out. I guess they had offered the other applicant the job before they had interviewed pat?? Whatever... now they want to make a position for him because they liked him so much!! I'm trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel but its just frustrating!!!
**NOTE to everyone reading this, if you or your spouse is in jeporady of loosing their job just quit spending money now!!! We would never had made it this far if we hadn't saved thousands of dollars!! I'm proud to say that we planned ahead for everything!!! :)
Either way you just feel like your life is on hold!! I hate waiting to hear from these companies!! You can't make any long term plans!! I'm just having an off day I guess!!

Pat was a lucky man this week!! He received a phone call from our mortgage broker, Ron, with Wells Fargo regarding a temporary to full time position. He went to the interview today and said that it went VERY well!!! He spoke with Ron later in the day and discussed pay and hours. Unfortunately, the temporary position is only for 30 hours a week but anything would be better than the current unemployment!! Right now we are discussing his current benefits and whether his COBRA will last until he would be hired full time. The temp position has the potential to last 6 months to a year, without benefits. If we were married, I could get him on mine!! ;) They are considering one other applicant, so we'll see how it turns out!! Keep ya posted!!

It's Booked!!!!

I have wanted to go to Vegas for my 25th birthday for I don't know how long!! Last night we finalized the trip!!!! I'm so excited!!! I have never been and neither has Pat!!! It was something I had to do and Pat was great!! We sat down, crunched a bunch of numbers for a budget and booked it within an hour!!! I was so glad to get nonstop flights with Southwest both ways too!!! Viva Las Vegas!!!! :)

Dexter loves the weather!!

When I'm not working or working on my golf swing, Dexter and I have been busy playing in the backyard and taking 1.5 mile walks in the neighborhood!!! He actually has energy afterwards!!! I cannot figure it out!!! I'm sure it will be a different story when the temp reaches 80 this summer!! Anyway I got a really good pic of him in the backyard!! I just love it and had to share!!!

Cinco de Mayo!!!

We headed to the famous Southwest Blvd last night to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with my friend Ashleigh! It just happens to be her Bday!!! It was a ton of fun!!! Met up at Margaritas and ended the night at Power and Light!!! Pat of course had to participate in taking down some Patron shots!! Too funny!!! Happy 24th Bday Ash!!! Love you!!!

Lincoln's first Bday!!!

We had the pleasure of celebrating little Lincoln's first Birthday with him on Saturday!!! He's so cute!!! It was a really good turn out despite the random cold front after all of the rain!!!He loved his birthday cake!!! Pat and I got him a little tykes basketball goal, this puppy dog bubble blower, and a plastic golf club set!! Pat thinks he'll be good at sports b/c he's so tall for his age!!! Total cutie pie!!!

Baby Drake!!!!

Congrats to our good friends Dustin & Whitney on their new healthy, beautiful baby boy!!!! Drake Lee Steinhauser was born at 2:16pm on April 29 weighing in at 6lbs 2oz and 19 inches long!!! Pat and I got to meet him later that evening and he is just adorable!!! Yea more babies to play with!!!!
