Wow its been forever!!

Where to start???


Pat & I have been in our house for 2 years!! Unbelievable!!! and I feel as though we haven't decorated a thing!! LOL ( working on that)
I recently traded in my little lexus for an RX! I love being able to fit more than Pat in the car!! Now our trips to the lake won't be nearly as crowded!! Unfortunately, a little old lady wrecked into me right after I picked it up!! But its good as new now!!!

The wedding plans are slowly moving along..... I can't wait!! It will be so much fun!!! I have the dress, location, officiant, signed us up for marriage counseling... all we need is cake, flowers and food!! All of that I have to do in Columbia! I have no desire to travel with a cake or bouquet in my backseat!! LOL

Things have just been busy lately! Between Pat being swamped at work, my work making us take CRRT classes, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mary Kay & golf we hardly have time to relax!!! But I know that it will all come to a hault this winter!!

Its has been awhile!

WOW!! I haven't posted since January!!
Where to start...
February... Pat and I visited my grandparents in FL for Valentine's Day! We had a blast and enjoyed meeting all of their friends. The weather wasn't too cooperative but seeing palm trees on a regular basis made up for it! ;)
March... was sad. My dad was in an accident at work on St. Patrick's Day. His left femur was crushed and after a week of remaining in critical condition & multiple surgeries, he lost his life to a pulmonary embolism on March 25th.... after that life seems to be a blur.
I haven't watched tv in over 4months. Started running & swimming again. Pat and I purchased some bicycles and ride them every chance we get. He really seems to enjoy his! The pool opened across the street and suddenly my lonely gloomy weekdays are filled with sunshine!
Overall, I really feel that we are doing well. We have such close family and friends. Girls night out has a new meaning now. Patrick possibly spends more time with my mom than I do, going to help with random things around her house or inviting her to events and such...
He is amazing! I love him to pieces!!

Selling Mary Kay!!!

Well last week I signed up to start selling Mary Kay!! I passed my Critical Care Certification test and now I have soooo much free time on my hands!! This was the only hobby that I could find that allowed me to make extra cash and spend more time with my friends!! I'm really excited!! Echo the Sky!

For those who aren't familiar... My best friend Caleb from high school came into town over the holidays!! He now lives in Huntington beach, California with his bandmate, Jesse. They are living the life, surfing and playing music!! So jealous!! I miss him soo much!! Echo the Sky had a show Saturday night, Nick, Erica, Pat and I braved the weather and headed downtown!! It was so great to see him and his entire family!!!!

Caleb, you are amazing!! The only person in this world who can play the piano and the guitar at the same time ;)!!! The show was perfect, Jeremiah and I mentioned how professional you guys sounded!! (Even with borrowed instruments!!!) It was so good seeing you!! Can't wait to make the trip out to Cali!!!

2009 was quite the year for Patrick & I... We are very excited for 2010 & even more for 2011!!
I have to take the time to thank everyone in our lives throughout this past year. Whether it was helping with a doctors appointment, calling to check on us, bringing us food, entertaining Patrick, or just supporting us through this stretch of changes, we have appreciated it! We keep you all close to our hearts and will be forever grateful! Thank you so much for your concern, strength, & encouragement!!

December in a nutshell!!

December started out busy!! Between Christmas parties, birthdays, shopping, and our crazy schedules, attempting to see friends and family was a challenge this month!!

Pat's soon-to-be cousin, Megan, graduated from Mizzou mid month!! Congrats!! The weather was terrible in Columbia so the trip down wasn't made but we owe Megan a night out on us!!

We celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve with my parents, sister, uncle & Pat's parents!! It was a lot of fun!! Got some good photos of the gang on the staircase!!









Christmas Day was FILLED with snow!! Patrick and I laid around watching movies all day before I made the dreaded hour long drive into work!!! We have gotten so much snow this year!! I don't think I've ever seen this much!! It is beautiful to look at.....



Sarah celebrated her first Birthday December 29th!!! We are all still in awe that she is that old already!!! Such a little cutie pie!! We made the trip down to Columbia last week for her elmo themed birthday party!! It was adorable!! We are so glad that we could be there!!!
