Baby Drake!!!!

Congrats to our good friends Dustin & Whitney on their new healthy, beautiful baby boy!!!! Drake Lee Steinhauser was born at 2:16pm on April 29 weighing in at 6lbs 2oz and 19 inches long!!! Pat and I got to meet him later that evening and he is just adorable!!! Yea more babies to play with!!!!

April is winding down!!

This past weekend was a whirlwind of events and faces!! My sister & I's good friend Cori came into town Friday along with Erica's old NYC roommate Suzanne!! I had no idea everyone was staying at our house all weekend!!! Trust me, I am not complaining one bit!!! We had so much fun!!! Pat was such a trooper with tons of girls all around! Not to mention inflatable penises and cakes!!

Saturday night was the bachelorette party!!! It was a blast!! We had a naughty gift party at my house with a full bar and jello shots and then headed to the bars!! My mom was amazing!! She drove all of us around until almost 4 in the morning!!! I still don't know how she did it!!!

Sunday we had the bridal shower at 2pm. I wish I had had more time to prepare in between but it went well!! I was exhausted!!! Erica had a blast and the infamous chocolate fountain managed to partially work!! I didn't have a microwave at the studio so I had to melt it in the bowl!!

Anyway, I went back to work Monday night to put some money back in my pocket!!! Pat had an eye appointment that morning and his eye looks good!! Still trying to taper off of some of the drops he's on so that he can get a contact!! We'll see!!

Hopefully it won't rain too much in the next couple of weeks!!! I think Pat's sick of mowing the lawn!!!! :) We planted some flowers out front and they look really good!! I keep meaning to get a photo and only seem to remember when the weather sucks!! I guess that's typical springtime in Missouri!

Pat's appointment went well friday!! He's to meet with his regular eye doctor to determine the need for a glaucoma specialist and to get fitted for a contact lens!! We don't see Dr Rosenthal until mid June!!! YEAH!!!

Planning Erica's wedding shower and bachelorette party is coming along!!! I'm so excited!!! It's going to be so much fun!!!

The pool is getting spruced up right now!! I'm stalking their progress!! I want to go swimming so bad!!!

Pat and I have just been hanging out and doing little random things around the house!! We finally got the Christmas lights down!!! haha!! There was no way that I was getting on that ladder!!!
We've been fixing random things that have broken and planting some flowers here and there outside!! The weather has been amazing lately!!! I love it!!!

Golf season has offically started for us!! We caught the bug with the Master's last weekend and hit the driving range Wednesday!!! We were a little rusty but I did way better than I ever expected to!! I was nervous that I would forget everything that I had learned last summer but it all came back piece by piece!!! I'm addicted!! I wish I could afford to go everyday!!!

Too much excitement!!!

All the invites are sent out for Erica's shower/bachelorette party/wedding!! I managed to get the night off last night to see my grandparents from Florida!!After the best easter get together at my mom's house yesterday, we came back and got her into "the dress"!!! Its so pretty!!! I feel that we've had so much time to plan everything that its taking forever to get here!!! I'm ready for that weekend off too!!! It'll be busy but so much fun!!!
Congrats to Matt & Jen who are expecting a baby in November!! I hope it comes early on Matt's bday!!!

Laser!!

Laser went well today!! Pat goes back next friday for a checkup!! I worked alittle overtime last night so Pat's mom took him and then they grabbed some lunch!!
My grandparents came into town this week!!! I wish I had more time off to see them!! I guess I'll just have to make some time to go visit them in Florida!!! ;)
Other than that, now that basketball season is over, we have just been watching DIY and dreaming of all the renovations and updates that we would love to do to this place!!!

More laser next week :(

Poor Pat has another round of laser treatment to his eye on Wednesday. They have to "tact down" the top where the bubble has been hiding an area that was lifting (detaching). The gas bubble is now fully absorbed, which is a good thing!! Hopefully after this he can set up an appointment to receive a contact lens!! His vision without it is great though!! 20/40!!
Keep your fingers crossed that this is the end of the road with all of the eye stuff!!! I don't even go to appointments anymore now that he can drive!! I know how terrible that sounds!! But it has been a long 4 months!!! :) We laugh about it now but it was by no means easy!! I'm so glad that he is feeling better and hope that it stays that way!!!

Yeah!!

I am debt free!!! I have finally paid off all of my credit cards and most of my student loans!! I'm so excited!! I had to celebrate by spending a ton of money online :) My kitchen aid mixer came in the mail yesterday while we were getting our air ducts cleaned out!!! Simon is obsessed with it!! Especially the box!!
Such an awesome feeling!!! I hate credit cards and will probably never get a new one ever again!!! Now I can focus on decorating this house!!!

Puppy's Bday!!

Puppy got spoiled this year for his birthday!!! After his cute little haircut, he got some new clothes, a new bed, and some treats and toys!!!

Pat made the comment the other day that the dog comes before he does. Its true!!! I told him to get used to it because if we had kids it would be the same way!!! :) He's my baby!!!

Happy BDay Dexter!!

My little baby Dexie turns 4 today!!!!! Yesterday he got his hair done and a bath!! They trimmed his tail differently and it looks so cute!!! Almost like a little pom pom!!! We are getting our air ducts cleaned right now but later he is going to get spoiled at the store and play with his buddy Winnie Bear tonight!!!! We love him so much!!! Happy birthday puppy!!!
