Stockton!!!

We finally made it down to Stockton, MO to visit with Patrick's grandparents, Tom & Leone, and stay with his Uncle Steve & Kelly. It was, hands down, the best trip we have been on in awhile!! We slept in every morning, ate excellent food, golfed everyday, went cruising in the boat around the lake and spent our evenings in the hot tub!!! To be honest, I didn't want to leave!!! I loved every minute!!! I can't believe we haven't been down there sooner!! :) The weather was fantastic for late September!!
As usual, Dexter was spoiled the entire time!!! He's such a little lap baby!!! He actually did really well on the boat too!!! I tubed the day away, which was fine with Pat b/c that allowed him to just drive the boat around!!! Yes, we BOTH have boat fever now!!! Before, it was just me, now Pat wants one too and a hot tub!!! We just got home this evening and are getting settled in and unpacked but here are a few pics! ENJOY!!

Dex's new hair cut!!!

Yesterday, Dexie got a haircut!! Finally!!! I posted a before and after. He's so funny and always does so well at the groomers, they love him!! It's shorter than we are used to but his hair grows so fast that you can't even get upset about it. :) It is so fun to see the pets find new spaces to lounge in this house, Cooper now hangs out in the kitchen behind the sink!! Dexter today got to play with his best friend and girlfriend, Ginger, and her mom Andrea. They are our former neighbors at the apartment, who now live just a hop, skip and a jump away down barry road! We swear that the puppies are meant for each other and that they should get married!! They had a blast and it gave us a chance to catch up!!! Dex didn't want to leave, I had to pick him up and carry him to the car!!! :( Dexie and Gingie, best friends for life!!!

Tonight, Pat and I got a chance to celebrate his birthday at a Jerry Seinfeld comedy show at the Midland Theatre!! Center stage, no one in front of us, in the 12th row!!! The best ever!!! I laughed so hard I literally almost peed my pants!! It was so funny that I am not even slightly embarrassed to share that!!! Pat said it was the best birthday present ever!!! and I would have to agree!!!

Mowing the lawn!!!

Pat mowed the lawn for the first time today!!! We both love the new lawn mower!!! Some of our trees are a little too low for 6 foot 4 Patrick!!! Haha!!! Dexter and the kitties took turns watching out the front door. It was so cute!! Overall, he did a great job!! Only took 45mins!! Unfortunately, when he was done we found out that we had no hot water and he had to take a cold shower!!! :) Oops! We're getting the gas turned on tomorrow. That's all for now, just getting stuff up on the walls and off of the floor!!!

My little Hallo-WEENIE!!!

We are gradually getting settled in!!! I worked all weekend, so now I have more time to unpack, get organized, and buy furniture!!! I am off of work until Thursday the 25th!!! Dexter is ready for Halloween early this year!!! He's going to be a little hot dog!!! The pets are just insane in this house!!! It is so much fun to see everyone playing on the stairs together!!! I love it!!! One of those moments that just makes your heart smile!! :) I love all these little guys!!!

Beginnings!!!

We moved all of our furniture on Tuesday and really a lot of other junk!!! We are still working on moving all of our clothes and books/office supplies!! Other than that we are practically moved in!!!! It was so much fun and we had tons of help which I can't thank everyone enough!!!!! My parents brought their truck, Pat borrowed his Dad's Jeep, my sister with her SUV, Matt & Jen with their SUV, and Mike with his truck we were able to get everything!!! It was an exhausting but really fun day!!! Afterwards Pat's parents arrived and we got pizza for everyone!!! Champagne brought over little Lincoln and my favorite neighbor Andrea came to the rescue with cups!!! Even though we had no furniture, it was so much fun hanging out on that massive staircase!!! Then to top it all off the fam pitched in and purchased Pat & I a lawn mower!!! The perfect housewarming present!!! SO much has gone on I can't even want to write it all but cable, internet, appliances, garage door openers all purchased, delivered!!! All I have left to do is furniture shop and decorate for now!!! The kitties are having a blast!! Dexter is always running around chasing them!!! If things were any easier, it would be scary!!! Here's some pics, please disregard the mess!! :)

Getting ready for tomorrow!!!

Well we are all packed up except for our clothes and the kitchen!! I don't cook very often so it's not urgent that I get that one done!!! Our apartment is a disaster!!! Everything echos with nothing on the walls!! We have never been so ready for a move in our lives!!! It's more exciting than going off to college!!! Well I'll put some pics up when we get our internet hooked up Weds!!!! I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the kind wishes and ask that everyone pray that it all goes smoothly!!!! We close at 11:30!!!! YAY!!!

Passing on the luck!!!

When I first met Patrick everyone said that he was the luckiest guy they knew!!! I think that it has rubbed off!!! This year has been crazy!! We got engaged, I received employee of the month at work, we found the perfect house across the street from the pool!!! Even in June when I had to deal with my car being totalled, I made quite a bit of money off of it and was able to get a Lexus at employee discount!!
Well lately it has definitely proven to have rubbed off on me!!! I was joking at work the other day b/c I kept getting the buy 1, get 1 free on Pepsi's that I should go play the lottery!! Instead, I entered a drawing at Celsius tan for a $2,000 shopping spree at Mazzarese Jewelry!! Shot in the dark!! I just received a call this morning that I won!!!! I'm so excited!! Now Pat and I can get wedding bands picked out!!! I'm strongly considering going and buying that lottery ticket!!! ;)
