The BIG 2-7!!!!!!

We celebrated Pat's Bday on Labor Day!! Unfortunately, I had to work on his birthday over the weekend. It was so much fun!!! My parents, his parents and my sister along with her fiancee Nick, all got together at Bob & Sandy's!!! Good food, good conversation, and lots of different beer!!!Pat got his favorite ice cream cake from Baskin Robins, world class chocolate!!! He's still eating it!!!

In our home it is never a dull moment due to some crazy little critters running around!! Here lately Dexter hair is out of control fuzzy and every time he goes outside he comes back in with these itty bitty wet feet!! We call him Mr. MC Hammer pants. It's so funny!! Simon and Cooper are into everything, constantly climbing on things, knocking stuff off of shelves and counters. The other day I picked a tomato off of our tomato plant and set it on the counter. Next thing I knew Dexter had eaten half of it b/c the kitties had knocked it off of the counter!! O well maybe next year for tomatoes!!! (We keep forgetting to water the plant!!)

Monday met with our mortage broker Ron, he is so nice!!! Right now we're looking at an interest rate around 6.5% but we haven't locked it in yet in case it drops!!! We had our inspection yesterday and everything went really well! Pat and I are both off of work on Tuesdays so we had a chance to walk through it with her, Dex had a blast running up and down the stairs to all the different rooms! The deck is pretty unstable so we'll have to take care of that and the door to enter the garage, the frame needs to be replaced and that is about it!!! Afterwards we went to nebraska furniture mart to look at washer and dryers, refrigerators and furniture!!! It was so much fun!! I usually hate going there b/c of all the employees bothering you but pat and I went in knowing exactly what we wanted, thanks to consumer report!!! So much easier!!!! We haven't purchased anything yet, we still need a few more measurements and then its go time!!! Also our closing date has moved up to Sept 9th due to a scheduling difficulty!!!! Yeah!!!! Things are falling into place perfectly!!! Since its on a Tuesday, we can get our keys that morning and head over and start cleaning to put our things in there!!!!

GOT IT!!!!

We got the house today!!!! SO excited!!! Pat is already shopping for a basketball goal to put out front!!! That was priority #1 for him!! HAHA! Not the refrigerator or the washer and dryer!! Anyway we are scheduled to close and take possession on the 10th of September!!!! Less than 2 wks!!I have never in my life been excited about moving until now!!! Since were closing mid month we will have the apartment until the end of september so we have alot of time to get our things out!!! Bonus!!! Here are a few pics with more to come when we get keys!!!! Making an offer!!!

Today we are making an offer on a house!!!! I'm so excited!!! We had the family over to approve with a walk through last night!!! We really like it and it is basically move in ready!!! Always a plus!!! I just love that it is across the street from the pool!!!! I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes!!!!

New to blogging!!

Well since Pat & I have very crazy schedules and feel like we never can manage time to see everyone, we decided to start a blog. Honestly we don't have much going on right now but we know that in the next couple of months alot is in the works!!! We are currently house shopping and hope to find a winner by fall!! Pat's sister Laura is having a baby due near christmas!!! My sister Erica is getting married in June!!! & then I have a wedding of my own to plan!!! So I'm sure that eventually I will be on here constantly (don't know about Pat ;)!!! Hope everyone is doing well!!!
